The agreement between you and Relay Panel. Written to be read rather than skipped, and short enough that reading it is reasonable.
Last updated 15 October 2026.
These terms are between you — the business opening an account — and Relay Panel, [registered address]. "You" means that business, not the individual who clicked the button. Anyone you invite into your account acts for you.
Using Relay Panel means agreeing to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are saying you may.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything your people or your API keys do. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us promptly if you think somebody else has them.
Each person who uses Relay Panel needs their own seat. A seat is a member of one company — one person working in three companies is three seats. Sharing one login between several people is not allowed, and it also breaks the parts of the product that attribute work to whoever did it.
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and takes a card up front. Nothing is charged during the trial. If you cancel before it ends, you are not charged at all. When it ends the subscription begins automatically at the plan and billing period you chose.
Prices are in US dollars, per seat, per month or per year as you choose. Adding a seat mid-period is charged pro rata; removing one credits the remainder against your next invoice. Prices listed on our pricing page are the prices — we do not charge per conversation, per message or per customer record.
We can change prices, but not retroactively and not quietly: you will get at least 30 days' notice by email before a change affects you, and you can cancel in that time.
Relay Panel includes an assistant that drafts replies. It is a tool for your people, not a replacement for them, and the product is built that way deliberately:
Drafts are generated by a language model and can be wrong. You are responsible for what you send. A reply that leaves your inbox is from your business, whoever or whatever drafted it, and we do not warrant that any draft is accurate, complete or suitable for the customer it was written for.
On Relay Desk AI the model is paid for by us, up to the monthly ceiling shown on the pricing page. At that ceiling the assistant stops drafting and hands conversations to a person — it does not start answering worse, and it does not run up a bill you did not agree to. On Relay Desk you may use your own Anthropic key, in which case your agreement with Anthropic governs that usage and its cost.
Your conversations, customers, orders and anything you write belong to you. We do not sell them, we do not share them with other customers, and we do not train any model on them.
We use them only to run the service for you: storing and displaying them, passing a conversation to the model when a draft is asked for, delivering email and calls, and keeping backups. Our staff access your account only to support you — when you ask, or to investigate a fault — and that access is logged.
You can export or delete your data at any time while your account is open. See the Privacy Policy for where it lives and how long it is kept.
Plainly: no unsolicited bulk email, no unlawful or deceptive messages, nothing that infringes somebody else's rights, and nothing designed to break the service or reach another customer's data.
Relay Panel sends email and places calls under your own domain and your own numbers. Anti-spam law — CASL in Canada, CAN-SPAM in the United States, and the equivalent where your customers are — applies to you as the sender, and following it is your responsibility.
If something you send puts our mail or telephony reputation at risk, we may suspend sending while we talk to you about it. We will tell you why.
We work to keep Relay Panel running and we do not promise it always will. There is no contractual uptime guarantee at these prices, and pretending otherwise would be the sort of clause that is never honoured.
What we do commit to: we will not deploy breaking changes without notice, and if we lose your data through our own fault we will restore it from backup.
Parts of the service depend on companies we do not control — Stripe, Anthropic, WooCommerce, your telephony provider, your mail hosts. When one of those is down, the part of Relay Panel that uses it is down.
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are in, and you keep access until that period ends.
Closing an account is deliberately not a button in your account. It is not something that should be possible to do by accident, or by one annoyed person with admin rights, so it is a request to us and we confirm it with you before anything is removed. Email hello@relaypanel.io and we will do it.
We may suspend or end an account for non-payment, or for a serious breach of the acceptable use section above. Except where the law requires otherwise, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
After an account is closed, your data is deleted within 30 days, and from backups within 90.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
Subject to that: Relay Panel is provided as it is, we exclude implied warranties so far as the law permits, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or lost business.
We may change these terms. If a change matters to you — anything affecting price, your data, or your rights here — we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that date means accepting it. Minor corrections take effect when posted.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Alberta have jurisdiction.
Questions about any of this: hello@relaypanel.io.
